Lindsay "Cool" and "Calm" in Jail; Source Says She'll Write Songs While Locked Up

So far, so good for Lindsay Lohan in jail. TMZ.com sources say she's "cool, calm and sleeping a lot" behind bars. One insider even said the Mean Girls star looks "stunningly beautiful."

Lindsay began her jail sentence Tuesday in a Lynwood, California facility. According to People magazine, Lindsay's mother, Dina, and younger sister, Ali, visited the jail for over an hour on Wednesday, but it's unclear if they actually got to see the actress.

We don't know if Lindsay's time behind bars will make her a better person, but it may make her a better singer.  A source tells Popeater.com, "Lindsay is going to spend her time in jail writing new songs that she will record the second she gets out.  Her emotions are so raw at the moment the material will be her best ever."  The insider set the bar pretty darned high for Lohan by adding the material she records "will definitely get nominated for a Grammy."
