The 18th annual 2014 Unity Breakfast on January 17th is sponsored by V-100 and will be held at Muskegon Community College at Collegiate Hall at 7:30 am.
The Unity Breakfast will feature two noted Canadian sports historians and documentary filmmakers who have written about the little-known but significant Colored Hockey League of the Canadian Maritimes.
George and Darril Fosty, authors of “Black Ice: The Lost History of the Colored Hockey League of the Maritimes 1895-1925,” will be the keynote speakers at the 18th Annual Unity Breakfast. The event begins at 7:30 a.m. in Collegiate Hall.
Tickets can be purchased at the Frauenthal Box Office or the MCC Bookstore during their normal business hours. The cost is $20 per person or $200 for a reserved table for eight. Call (231) 777-0569 for more information.
